Kickin is an event monitoring tool for marketing teams. This policy covers how we handle information about the people who use Kickin — not the end users of your website.
What we collect
When you sign up, we collect your name and email address. If you're on a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
The script you install on your site captures event names, timestamps, and counts — the same metadata your analytics platforms already track. It does not collect personally identifiable information about your website visitors. No names, no emails, no IP addresses.
We also collect basic usage data: which features you use, how often, and any errors that occur. This helps us keep the service running and improve it over time.
What we do with it
We use your information to run the service, send alerts, and provide support. That's it.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data to anyone.
We don't share your data with advertisers.
We don't use your monitoring data to train models or build profiles of your customers.
We don't access your workspace data except to diagnose a specific issue you've asked for help with.

Each has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. We don't automatically purge monitoring data on a schedule. If you want your data deleted, email us at support@kickin.io and we'll take care of it.
Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies in the app. The marketing site uses standard analytics.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time. Email us at support@kickin.io.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email before they take effect.
